Medium shot (mid-shot) - a figure from about the waist up.

Long shot - The whole of the body is visible.

Wide shot - Shows a vast area, depending on where it appears in a sequence it is sometimes called an establishing shot.

Point of view (POV) - Allows us to see through the eyes of a character.

Low angle - puts the character in a position of power and makes the viewer feel inferior

High angle - makes the characters seem vulnerable and puts the viewer in a position of power.

OTS (Over the shoulder) - Looks over the shoulder of a character to reveal what they are looking at (used in conversations)

Camera movement
Pan - moving from left to right or right to left.
Tilt - moving from up to down or down to up.
Tracking shot - follows an object or person, or the other way round.

Hand-held - when the camera is being held.
180º Rule - when you cannot film over the other side of the imaginary line.
